Construction and deployment

Both parts of the SATS system the supply unit and triggering plate are installed with anchored frames. This allows for preparations on site. In most cases there are no new concrete foundations needed and the mounting frames can be secured by anchors. The supply unit can be transported with a helicopter in one piece and is simply mounted on top of the anchored frame. This way only very few helicopter flights are needed to get the system working. After erecting the radio tower and solar panels, and connecting the fuel tanks the supply unit is ready to work. The triggering plate lifting unit is installed similarly easy on top of its frame and the plate itself is hung on the hinges. Then the hydraulic arm is locked to the plate and the lifting unit gets wired to the supply unit. The entire construction work on site is kept as simple as possible to be able to safely cater steep and alpine terrain.


Terrain and Placement

The mechanical avalanche release unit can be mounted in almost any terrain. After an inspection and calculation by our technicians, you will receive an assessment of possible locations and configurations of release plates and power supply units.


Control panel

For monitoring and remote control, we provide our customers with a platform-independent user interface for several SATS systems. The control panel scores with ease of use and ongoing documentation of the triggering processes.



We provide documents to demonstrate the low environmental impact of our systems on issues of nature and water protection. The legal base for the permit is water protection and environmental protection requirements, which are controlled by the responsible authorities of the respective country.
